Portraits for the bold, mysterious, and everything in between.

The Experience You Deserve.

So many people don’t realize what’s possible for a portrait session because they’ve been led to believe they need to look or feel a certain way in order to be “photographable.” Everybody deserves a seat in front of the camera and an opportunity to be photographed with care and artistry. And while I know my portfolio has room to grow in reflecting the full range of diversity I believe in—my intention is for this to be a place where people can see themselves in photographs. The following is a list of what is possible, encouraged, and celebrated here.

  1. Come as you are and take up space without any expectation to alter or re-shape your images.

  2. Move, dance, stretch, laugh, ask questions, take breaks, introduce an idea that is inspiring you in the moment.

  3. Be photographed with a friend, sibling, lover, chosen family, or pet.

  4. Wear something unconventional or meaningful-even if goes against all the wardrobe rules you have ever been told.

  5. Exist in photographs without the justification of a milestone, a plus one, or your kids.

  6. Create something artsy and unexpected.

  7. No smiles. There is more than one expression! All are welcome to be explored.

  8. Be seen in you gender expression and identity without having to explain any of it.

  9. Permission to be fully guided through the process and not have to figure anything out.

  10. Be a collaborator, not just the one being photographed.

  11. Permission to have fun and not feel pressure to perform.

  12. A safe place to cry or feel emotional during the process without feeling like you’re wrong or too much.

  13. The freedom to wear bare skin or beat your face for the gawds honey!

  14. Wrap in layers, or go tastefully nude.

  15. Be seen, documented, and supported by someone who is emotionally mature, appropriately attuned, and understands boundaries.
