Portraits of the Journey.
Recital photos are lovely keepsakes, but they focus primarily on familiar poses that showcase technique while saying little about a dancer’s personal journey or personality. My approach will tell more of the story—from rehearsal floors to curtain calls—capturing the process, the performance, and everything in between. Think of your image collection as a documentary of your dancer at this moment in their life, so they can look back and remember not just how it looked, but how it felt.

“No cookie-cutter poses, no clichés, no flying fabric or smoky entrances. And weddings? I love being a guest. All of those styles are great in their own right—they’re just not what I create.
--Kelly Ferguson
You’ve seen the recital video. The keepsake film is different.
Let’s be real, the studio is where the memories live- where self expression begins and character is quietly built. The recital video captures the steps, but the keepsake film tells the story.
Admitely, this is everything my adult self wishes I had and could look back on—and why I would love to create one for your dancer, exactly as they are, in this moment.
